About William Marrow

A question bank built specifically for physicians preparing for the RACP Divisional Written Examinations.

Why William Marrow Exists

Physicians preparing for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) Divisional Written Examinations have historically had limited access to high-quality, Australia-specific study resources. Most available question banks are built around UK or US examination formats, leaving a real gap for candidates sitting the RACP DWE.

William Marrow was created to fill that gap — a purpose-built question bank with comprehensive coverage, detailed explanations, progress tracking, and peer-reviewed content aligned to the Australian examination context.

What the Platform Offers

  • A large bank of MCQ and EMQ questions across all major specialty areas tested in the RACP DWE.
  • Detailed explanations for every question, peer-reviewed by practising physicians.
  • Progress tracking across sessions with identification of weak areas by specialty.
  • Personal notes and bookmarks on any question for focused revision.
  • An issue reporting system allowing users to flag potential errors for review.

The Founder

William Marrow was founded by Dr. Ismail, who has personally sat both the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) examinations in the UK and the RACP Divisional Written Examinations in Australia. That firsthand experience — and the absence of suitable preparation resources for the Australian exams — was the direct motivation for building this platform.
